It seems mysql is working fine. Joomla can populate the datebase itself. But when I add new content in admin page, it gives me the message windows of moscontent::store failed

when I try to start a new section, it gives me the meesage "Fatal error: Call to undefined method mosSection::getErrorMsg() in C:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\joomla\administrator\components\com_sections\admin.sections.php on line 298"

is there any missing activated php module?? what can I do to solve it?

This problem only exist with MySQL 5. To fix this, this is the solution:

Open MySQL Administrator and click on Startup Variables. Under the Advanced tab look for the SQL Mode field and remove the

STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,

I have the same problem !
I cannot open the admoin mode because I use a shared server @ brinkster.
any other suggestion ?

And I noticed that I don't have the com_sections on the server or in the archive...
