Dear balan,
you may need a professional help for customisation  else you have to study docs throughly and learn the ways to configure joomla according to your needs. After studing documents you should consult the forum member.
thanks.

You may want to start with the Joomla Help Manual that can be found at the help site ..

http://help.joomla.org/images/User_manu ... 1%2006.pdf

Later on after you comfortable with Joomla you can start working with indic languages ..

There is a repository available for the indic translations available for Joomla at > http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/indicjoomla/frs/

Tamil translation is Beta though, as its not been tested as yet .. you can start with it and improve and customize it as you go ..

Cheers

Hi, I'm new to joomla. I've finished all installations and i'm trying 2 build a website from the scratch. What do i do right from the wwwroot folder to oganize the files for the new site. Do i have 2 be tampering or altering all the folders and files that came wth joomla to effect the development of a new site? or do i keep altering the sample data?..do i keep installing joomla each time i need to build a new site??..secondly, I'm working locally so i want to be able to transfer all my files to the remote end after building my site.

I also wish to see samples of how websites are built right from the scratch. I believe i can learn more from samples, but i don't usually get samples of joomla site development that touches everything right from the bottom to the top. I need just a little spark to ignite myself.

Pls help me!!....thanks and God bless u!!

reply @ dewusco

i didn't get what exactly you are trying to accomplish here
if you are trying to learn how to make a new site in joomla , you need to start from reading docs and joomla help manuals,
if you are looking for joomla sample sites , their is showcase in joomla.org sites or just go to site showcase in forum.joomla.org
lastly if you have something really new in mind then first learn the basics and then start exploring components and modules and start integrating them in your basic joomla site one by one , this way you will have your site up and running and you`ll learn a lot in the process

@ Dewusco

Almost all of us have started a Joomla powered site from scratch.
You don't need to touch your folders or files in your wwwroot. Joomla is a Content Management System (CMS). Everything is done from your backend (Administration Area).
Joomla is packed with some sample articles. You can use them by renaming their title or you can unpublish or delete them. It's up you! They are just "Samples" for you to have an idea on how things can be organized and displayed on your website.

To be more precise, here are some resources you requested:

Joomla! Community Showcase

1.5 Site Showcase

I am not quite sure if I understood your question about sessions but please read this article. It may help you:

@joomfriend

Thanks for your attention..

My problem get solved by using "php page component extension" and "JFactory class".

Now Joomla session thing is going right way.
