Whilst I respect the moderators decision to close the previous topic - Web Revolution - there was an interesting discussion that hadn't reached conclusion.

A former developer was in the process of arranging the distribution of the WR templates to their lifetime members. As a lifetime member, I paid my money a few months ago too and found this thread via Google, as I'm sure others have too.

Therefore, I would like to keep one of these topics open until the former developer, ZulloP, has graciously setup the distribution mechanism. We're not talking about copyright infringement as we all have receipts for our payments, we're talking about some level of satisfaction. It's a shame that WR has disappeared and with several pots of money from Joomla! community members. The least Joomla! can do is let us find a way of connecting *AND* resolving this matter with the help of ZulloP.

This thread is also going to be locked.

The Joomla! forums are not a place to discuss a commercial disagreement nor is it the place to discuss the distribution of copyright materials irregardless of whether you think you are entitled to them or not.  Please take your discussion and commercial dispute elsewhere.

Thank you for understanding.

Also I personally take offense to you inferring that Joomla! owes anyone anything.  Joomla! has nothing at all to do with this commercial template provider.

I just want to add the "why" to all this. The reason that we can not allow a thread where Web Revolution customers can come together is that we have no way of knowing who really is a customer and who is not. If non-customers say they were customers and software is sent to them, that is piracy. I know it sucks for you and others, but there is not much we can do. If you purchased your subscription recently, you can dispute the charge with your credit card company for fraud.

We do apologize for this, but this is not a Joomla! issue. This is a Web Revolution issue.

If you have any questions or wish to discuss this further, please PM, email, or Instant Message me. The Joomla! Forum is not the place to discuss this.

Have a good day!

Also please note Tonie's response earlier which explained why these threads are not allowed on our forums.

Hi there all. I'm sorry to hear what has happened.

I will do the unpopular thing now, and close this thread based on the following:

We left this thread open so people could find each other, which has now been done. One cautionary reminder which by the looks of it everybody is aware of. If the templates in question are copyrighted, there is a possibility that it's not legal to share them with the public.

Thanks for understanding.
