hi my name is Khalil qandil a 19-year-old student from Jordan.
i worked with joomla for one year now and i want to translate all of the manual into Arabic language ,
and i will talk about the rtl and ltl tags in html because our language is written from right to left and a lot of people don't know that
and how to build a friendly Arabic template .
i will just help a little in the server side scripting and how can use the localhost in our own computers ,
i will write all the tasks soon when i finish the basics drafts so i will not be late.

Google Task
[me=AmyStephen]added Task Description, Claim and due date, and link to Google Task[/me]

Thanks for participating in the GHOP contest, Khalil!

I love to see people who are long term community members, such as yourself, participating in the GHOP Contest.

This is an important job, translating the installation job into Arabic and your work will be appreciated by many.

If there is something we can do to assist, do not hesitate to ask. We would appreciate an update from you every few days so that we know how work is progressing.

Good luck!
Amy :)

Did you hear from aratype? Are you progressing with your task? Given people are busy with RC4 and v 1.5 Final preparations, I hope you are not waiting before you begin. I recommend you do what you are able and hopefully, we can connect you with a translator resource at some point.

Thank you for your contributions to the Joomla! community,
Amy :)

Oops! Sorry - I didn't see my prompt from a few days ago. I am not intending to rush you. As long you are working on the task - we appreciate it if you report back every few days, just to let us know. As long as you are moving forward, that's great! It's all good!

It is interesting that you ask the xml-rpc question - we are considering adding a task to create an xml-rpc driver for the MetaWeblog API (perhaps others, as well). Is that of interest to you?

Amy :)

Khalil -

Thank you for your contributions to the Joomla! community. I uploaded your work to the JoomlaPlace.org resource since we are out of space on Google; and, I linked to this work and closed your task.

You are free to choose another task, provided you do so *soon* within the next 20 or so hours.

I created an xml-rpc task for implementing the MetaWeblog API. If you are interested, please respond "I claim this task" in the task page.

Again, I thank you for your work. Your efforts help extend the value of Joomla! to others; that is noble work and much appreciated.

Amy :)
