I understand the database format has changed a bit in RC4.
Does the Migrator work with RC4?

Would it be safer to do a migration manually?

Regarding the Exporting of the MySQL database,
is there a table or graphic showing any setting
that are needed for the export, ie: Compatibility,
Structure, inserts, Export type, etc.

The migrator is for Joomla 1.0.13, not for 1.5. The database changes are available in .sql files in /installation/sql/mysql in RC4.

I tried installing Migrator rc3 on joomla 1.0.13 last night, and performing back up.

I then ran resulting sql script on fresh install of joomla 1.5 rc4.

News articles worked fine, but menu seemed a bit screwed up. 

However, I couldn't get sql script to run at installation point, so had to install a fresh joomla 1.5rc4 and then run script through mysql afterwards, so that might have been why as there were a few duplicated keys.

Looking forward to migrator rc4 though in case this is the problem?
