What is the purpose of this module?
Where do we put this module?
How do we configure this module?
What else is required other than php5/SOAP?

Is there anything else required with this?

Is 1.0.5 the latest? Where does this file go? Is there any sort of guide on how to get this COM_CONNECTOR and VBulletin SOAP module, properly installed? At this moment, there are so many threads and pieces of information scattered all over this forum, that it's not funny! We need a simple step by step for this connector, as it promises to be great but the documentation or lack of, is very sad indeed.

I agree.  I've been trying for about 2 days now to get vb and joomla to work together, and still haven't gotten it to work..  I'm not even certain where to find and install the soap extension.

With "require SOAP extension" you mean that I need to enable soap in php5? ...or in addition to that I need vBulletin soap to make it works, for example, with vB? If in my phpinfo I can see --enable-soap and --with-soap I'm ok? Sorry for my newbie's question!  :-[

Ok. Now my hoster is running php4, I tell them to switch to php5 with --enable-soap, I have shell access do you think I can do the switch myself? Maybe I don't have all the permission to make it... I'm going to ask them (BlueHost).

you can only do that if you have root access on the server
only a shell is not enouth

if you can do this without root access you should switch the provider ;)
