This post will have a collection of known issues with Joomla 1.0.10,  issues which affect a lot of people will be posted. This post is locked and sticky, it will be updated when a new issue is found. The discussion thread is located here: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic ... #msg377162.

Please note that these fixes may be overwritten/fixed in new versions of Joomla, they are in no way official. It's a small service to the benefit of all. I thank all people for providing me with the information that can be used for helping others on the forum.

If you are using Joomla! 1.0.9, there is no immediate reason to update the language file of choice. The only changed in english.php have been two typos.

If you upgraded from a Joomla! version older than 1.0.9, there will be language changes in english.php and other languages.

The language file for English is automatically updates, for other languages you need the latest version that will have all translated text for Joomla 1.0.10.

If you updated from version 1.0.8 or 1.0.9, there is no reason to use the new .htaccess. The only changes have been in the information given in the file.

There is a small mistake in .htaccess of Joomla! 1.0.10, the line 'Options FollowSymLinks' should be 'Options +FollowSymLinks'.

Community Builder
When using Community Builder, it can be possible that the following error pops up when logging in. "You are not authorized to view this resource", please make sure you are using Community Builder 1.0 Stable, as it has already dealt with this issue.

Virtuemart
The Virtuemart login module experiences a problem. A more thorough read can be found here: http://virtuemart.net/index.php?option= ... &Itemid=57. Virtuemart 1.06 should fix the problem described.

Facile Forms
After the current security hole, the developer of facile forms checked his own component for issues just like the current issues. He found a security leak in Facile Forms, and fixed it immediately. When using Facile Forms, it is strongly advised to update to version 1.46.

RSGallery2
RSGallery2 also announced a new version on june 29 due to a security issue. All users are advised to upgrade their version. The website of RSGallery2 can be found here: http://rsgallery2.net/, the minimum new version is 1.11.4

This is not a bug, there have been extra additions to the language file (english.php). This means that if you are using another language file, the extra entries need to be added. More information can be found here: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic ... #msg349477

There has been security hardening in the Joomla! login module in 1.0.10. This can affect third party components which offer an alternative login method. Examples of these are SMF Bridge, Virtuemart and CB. Please also take a look at the respective forums when having problems with the login module and using one of these good components.

This error has popped up repeatedly.

Warning: Missing argument 2 for initsessionadmin() in /var/www/cms/includes/joomla.php on line 742

This error is probably due to the file /administrator/index2.php not being updated in an earlier patch, or using an incorrect patch. An explanation can be found here: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic ... #msg379240. Resume: copy over the 1.0.8 - 10.0.10 patch, this should do it.
