Hello, i have uploaded my site to www.guiacontratango.com/index.php

When it was in my local server all was ok.

But now, I cant edit articles, or enter in global configuration, and a lot of things more.

I only see a blank page, no error or something like that.

I am using J! 1.5.26

php 5.2.17 (i changed it from 5.3.10, because i thought that was a php version problem, but I think its not).

Somebody knows how to solve this problem?

I followed this: viewtopic.php?t=520713 because I had this error

""Fatal error: Cannot make non static method JCacheStorage::test() static in class JCacheStorageCachelite in libraries/joomla/cache/storage/cachelite.php on line 318""

that solved the error, but the problem is still there for articles, config, and other things that I have not tryed yet.

You could try entering a value into the livesite entry on your configuration.php file in the main root of your Joomla site. You would place the whole URL for your site. Example: http://www.yourwebsite.com, or, http://yoursite.com.

While you are in the configuration.php file, check to make sure the log and temp paths are correct. This can cause lots of issues when migrating a website from one place to another. This path is relative to your host (not your website) and will often look like this: var/www/public_html/tmp

numinousmedia, thanks for the reply. I think your second answer is not for this post, or is it? I checked all the site and all is ok, and searching I find that is a common problem but I had not find any solution.

I think the problem is in the DB because I tried to make a copy in local of my local site working and has the same problem. I mean: I have finished the site that I want to upload but in the server I have this problem. But, if I try to install it in another folder in my local server the error is the same. All things are ok, even I have deleted some conflictive plugins (just in case) but I have this problem.

Any suggestions?? In local I would be able to see the error number, but nothing is displayed.

Yes, sorry about that other post. This is what happens when you have two tabs open to the forums, and you walk away to get a snack :-)

Possibly it could be related to your database... although, I somewhat doubt it if your frontend works correctly. Is your database hosted locally, or is it on a remote server?

numinousmedia thank you again, and dont be sorry! its always a good news when somebody is helping to other people, even when you post in other thread! haha

In local and in the hosting the copy of my site has this problem, but the original (it is only in local) has not.

I tried with a lot of exportation variables and I think it is not the problem.

I tried not exportin jos_content table and importing another with no content (you see, I need the installation of all the components, etc, so if I upload the site with out content, I dont care, because I need components, plugins, modules, template and lenguage configuration, and that is in the db) but it didnt worked.

I think that the problem is in com_content, because is the only section with problems. I cant create new articles too.

if you have time, and a big heart, I can upload a .rar with the site and db and you can try to install it.

Please forgive this petition, but I do not know what more to do

I FOUND THE PROBLEM!!!

IT WAS SOOO STUPID!!!

I do not why, but it had no editor selected in the config!!!

ps. that was the problem in local, but I am gonna try in the server (now I am uploading all the 20.883 files) before marking this thread as solved.
