Hi,

I created a theme for DOCMan called MjazTools BlogTheme.
I'm looking for people to beta-test it. It's available on the forge:
http://forge.joomla.org/sf/projects/mjaztools

Please post any bugs, feature requests, suggestions, ... here.

From the readme.txt file:

MjazTools BlogTheme v1.0 BETA for DOCMan
----------------------------------------

More MjazTools: http://forge.joomla.org/sf/projects/mjaztools

Description
-----------
I found out why there are so little (none at all?) publicly available themes for DOCMan: it's a lot of hard work to make them! This one is intended to use as many styles of your Joomla! template as possible, so your DOCMan layout will integrate nicely with the rest of your site. That means this theme will look different on every site -  sometimes ugly, sometimes pretty - it all depends on your template!
It includes a PNG fix for Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6. If it gives you any trouble, turn it off.

BETA
----
This is a BETA version. It probably won't do any harm, but still: use at own risk. Please report bugs or feature requests at http://www.forum.joomla.org

Tested with Joomla! v1.0.10 and DOCMan v1.3RC2

Installation
------------
I couldn't get the theme installation in DOCMan to work :-( but don't worry:
- Unzip the package and put it in /components/com_docman/themes/mjaztools_blogtheme/
- In the backend, go to Components -> DOCMan -> Configuration -> Frontend
- Set Icon Size to 32x32
- Go to Components -> DOCMan -> Themes
- Edit the configuration settings for BlogTheme
- Don't forget to publish it!
- Done!

Icons
-----
These icons come from the Cezanne icon theme at http://www.kde-look.org/usermanager/sea ... ame=cjtown
and are released under a Creative Commons License.
see: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/

They were made by:
Christopher Townson

Additional Icons
----------------
I selected some extra icons from Cezanne theme, you can download them at http://forge.joomla.org/sf/projects/mjaztools

PNG Fix
-------
The fix to correctly handle PNG transparency in Win IE 5.5 & 6 come sfrom this site:

I just installed the theme for DocMan and it looks very nice in my site.
Will let you know if I have any issues with it.

Here's a picture of how my site looks like.

And another one with the rt_haiku template.
(with ugly jpg compression to fit within the forum's attachment size limits. It will look better on your site!  :D )

Has anyone found any issues or weird behaviour so far? If not, I'll release it as stable one of these days.

I think I'll release it as screenshotware  ;D If you use it, you have to post a screenshot of your site (or a link).

Very nice theme and works well.  The only request that is that, how do I remove the words "downloads" and "categories" from the download home screen.

Thanks for the wonderful theme!

A wonderful layout choice for what has become a widely used component in the J! community. The job you have done deserves all the kudos possible, given that it is the first(that I know of) of its kind, the complexity of the job, and the excellent results it provises. Maybe now that you have laid down the challenge, others may try their hand. Just the sort of thing that brings people to open source.

Thank You - 10 points from me.  :)

I'll add an option for that in the final release.

I just released the final version. Please use this new thread for comments:
http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic ... #msg404927

I've added options to remove the titles as requested by ReVaL. I've also cleaned up the code and made some minor improvements.
