Restricted Admin

Post by merlinox » Tue Sep 04, 2007 3:03 pm

Hi to all. I need to create a restricted admin who can only view and modify (in the back-end) one only specified content item.

I'm trying JACL. Very good.
How can I create a new group of registered users that can access only a one category of contents?

You only need to changes the permissions to suit the particular category.  ie; Restrict it to Registered users only.

Sorry. But I don't wont that all registered users may read that category, only some registered users.
I have tried to create with JACL a new registered user group, but I can't assing them read rights.

That would be all you need to do.  Create a Special Group and allow them reading rights.

Do a search for adding SPECIAL groups.
