August 25th 2005 I date I will remember

Post by tjay » Thu Aug 25, 2005 7:34 pm

Today I did something I would never have thought I would have.
I logged off of the forums at mamboserver.com.
Sort of a bittersweet event. But I feel it was time to let those folks get on with what they are doing while we set our course and mark our goals.
It has been an interesting past week. So many strange emotions and events.

Some how logging off and removing the bookmark gave me comfort, and more time  :) since keeping up here is starting to take a large amount of time.
For those who still feel a need to login over there and even post I understand. It was hard for me to let go.
For those considering it. Do it, it feels strangely good.
This day it is my wish that I helped you to live

While some believe that open source or an open source project like $ambo is a "name". It does inspire to see those that believe in deeper meanings. That there are "real" people and real contributions to help  behind those meanings. I believe  that "life" is a word. I also believe life has deeper meaning. I can relate to remembering days as you suggested you have.  I also see meaning in other words you write.

Edited: Spelling errors.. most likely more.
