joomla template tutorial

Newbie here

Digging thousands of overwhelming resource is really exciting! Lucky enough to bump into this tutorial>>> http://www.mambosolutions.com/dw_tutorial/ Followed every step of the prerequisites of dreamweaver.

Along the way i encountered an error and am stucked! I installed the Template Extension for Dreamweaver thru COMMAND Tab as instructed and had this error in return>>>>Cannot update a file. The extension will not be installed.

hope you can help me guys. daghang salamat

uhmm.. haven't encountered that error when i installed the Template Extension for joomla :( hope others here can help you with this one bro :)

wala naman problem sa installation ung extension, di ko lang alam sa ibang version ng dreamweaver. gamit ko dreamweaver 8.

try mo ito NeoJoomlaBar
mas maganda ito.

kung hindi mo maayos yan reinstall mo dreamweaver mo.

susubukan ko po sa mx2004 at dreamweaver 8.

nag uninstall-re install ako ng dreamweaver kasi hindi ma update ang bigay mo. per oganun pa rin :'(

sinubukan ko din na dun sa Commands>Manage Extensions.... :'(

What's the update on this?  I have tried using both MX 2004 and Dreamweaver 8 it works fine.  Have you tried installing it on a different pc?  It could be that there's a problem with the one your using. :)

wala po talaga e. I decided to uninstall the dreamweaver. Will do it again pag may oras na. I tried NVu's template builder. Okay naman.
