The Start Tags in PHP

Post by Wind Shear » Fri Aug 26, 2005 1:00 am

Sometimes, the codes of modules forgot to complete the opening tags (<? instead of <?php). When the short opening tags in PHP (look for it at php.ini) are not allowed in the site, the modules screwed up.

Now, to make you work faster, here's how to replace the short open tags to complete open tags.

1. Open your favorite editor (in my case, I use BBEdit in Mac OS X)
2. Find "<?php" and then replace with "<?"
3. Finally, find "<?" and then replace with "<?php"

I hope this will help.
