but ther are tips which might be useful to you, i have read some where.

1 > use photoshop
2 > css3 styling will help more
3 > optimize your photoshop
4 > setup grid & use layer shape
5 > use smart objects
6 > use layor comps
7 > use custom color swatches
8 > create a ste of custom style
9 > use scratch file
10> use the slide tool
