Display Article without the template

Hi, I want to display an article without the template elements displaying how would I do this.

I've created a flash animation with menu buttons once selected it displays a popup, within the pop I am displaying an article but it displays with the rest of the template (Logo, footer, menu etc). I only want to display the article.

How do I do this?

are you talking about Joomla 1.5 or Joomla 1.0
If joomla 1.5, add ?tmpl=component to your URL
