Can't add text to "Module Class Suffix" to a html module

Can't add text to "Module Class Suffix" to a html module

I have entered text into the param box, saved the mod, go to the front end, refresh, search for the module and there is no div or other evidence of the new class... or any class for that matter... also, show title doesn't work ether.

Am I missing something?

Does the class suffix you are using actually exist in the CSS?

Some templates with built -in suffixes require a space before the suffix in the param
" -suffix" instead of "-suffix"
