Add navigation buttons to Joomla Page?

Hi. I'm wondering if it's possible to add navigation buttons to a Joomla site I'm working on.

Here's the background - we're building this online library site. I have it now so that people can go to the article they want, but if they want to return, they have to use the "back" button on their browser. Further there is no way to page ahead to the next article or the previous article.

Is there any simple way to add buttons to go to "Next Article", "Previous Article" and "Home"?
