Author Submit New Content form

Is there a way to customize the parts of joomla that appear when using the "Submit - Content" type? 

1. i want only one submit box appear. Meaning only the "Intro Text "box, or only the "Main Text" box appear?

2. Completely NOT show the section at the bottom with the 3 tabs: "images", "publishing", or "metadata"?

3. Limit or control the type of HTML code inserted into the HTML tab?

please feel free to log into my site to get a better idea of what i'm trying to do. if you know which php forms i need to hack that would also help.

i think the code you are referring to sits in
/includes/joomla.php

instead of calling the tables that make up the "extra parms" you do not want, you could make hidden submit fields with default values
