Switching Title and Category positioning

Post by nberke » Fri Jul 27, 2007 5:32 am

Hey guys,

I'm trying to design a Joomla template to match the current (non Joomla) website of my employer.  One thing I need to do, is to switch around the positioning of the Title and the Category displays on the frontpage blog post view.  At the moment, if I choose to list the category it goes below the Title.  I need it to go above the title.  How can I make this happen?  Thanks a lot!

I think you need to hack the core... com_content.html.php ?

But maybe it is possible to do this with CSS-Styling?

Do you have an design example availible?

Regards.

I had a similar problem to this so using a template with module positions at the top of the content area (usually the case) I configured one of these to take my own page title. Only slight problem is that one can end up with lots of modules for the site. That way I had more options with the parameter titles and document headings and got what I want. I even added another module below this to give a short intro. to the page (just text with a styled hr /). In this case I wanted to stick that and another article at the top of the content so the article got dated somewhere in 2010. Hope it holds up!
Thanks for your time.
