I like it. One more animal for the Open Source Zoo.
BUT... could the rhino be a little bit less bad-tempered?

Re: LOGO: brandable
Hi,
This is a fantastic logo, professional, well designed and has lots of presence to complement the core application and has the visual appeal to pull potential Joomla users / clients onboard.

Re: LOGO: brandable
I like you logo but I think it's a bit to angry and agressive for a friendly and fresh name like Joomla!
Keep up the good work.

Re: LOGO: brandable
IMHO the logo does not signify anger & aggression, but strength. The Core took a lot of b@lls, courage and strength to make the break. The new Joomla! logo should put across a mental image that signifies this strength. The strength being the community, which all together make a fairly big animalsc00zy wrote: I like you logo but I think it's a bit to angry and agressive for a friendly and fresh name like Joomla!

That's one angry rhino! Think somebody just ran away with his food... he looks like it! Just kidding... nice idea and nice result. Might be a bit difficult to make a good favicon of it...

For me the logo is OK as it is, but if you changed the eye slightly to give it a more friendly attitide, woud be better for those who percieve some aggressiveness in the present proposal.
No need to play with other animals, you found the right one. For the favicon you can use just the head (of the rhino, I mean).
To top five right away!
