hi samir actually

got 2 type of bridge from 2 active developer right now
1 ) Orstio Smf bridge where u can download at here
http://www.simplemachines.org/download/?bridges

2) joomlahacks bridge where u can integrate joomla and smf together to work with cb
http://www.joomlahacks.com/component/op ... fo/id,489/
I have heard and used SMF bridge but it is opening SMF in new window so please let me know how joomla website is been inegrated with SMF
yah its true but u can choose to make it load from joomla itself.

p/s: actually forum.joomla.org is not integrate with main joomla site but its have similiar template with official joomla site.

You can change the default them by removing the header (so you do not have two headers) and give it the same color style as the rest off your site. This is the easy way or you can make your own template. But Templates for SMF are a little bit harder to make then the Joomla! templates ;)

that depends on what you're going for...

as an example, I have smf integrated with joomla using wolverine's bridge from joomlahacks - my forums is also wrapped and I added a snippet of code to my forum files to redirect back to my main site so that my forums cannot be accessed outside of my site at all

I then made a copy of my main template for my site, edited out the coding for the left and right modules and made the center division full width so that my forums would load there and assigned that template to the forums

you can see it working on my site (unless I decide to pull my april fools joke that somehow I deleted the tables to my forums)

either way, if you need some help with this, if this is the way you decide to go, let me know...

Don't use Joomla's wrapper.  Make your menu item the bridge component - it will handle the wrapping.
