Joomla and SMF with one login

Post by CYHPT » Sat Apr 21, 2007 11:28 pm

Hi all,

I have Joomla and SMF installed, and they are bridged. My question is, how do I configure the login as one, so that I dont have to logout twice on the website?

Thanks

Easy...

Image
click on the search btn as show on the image.

then

it will take you to the search area as show in this image.
type in that box what u r looking for in this case I think u r looking for a bridge to use SMF and Joomla login as one, so try using this word "bridge" if it doesn't show you what u r looking for try using "SMF bridge", I'm very sure that any of those will give you somthing as show in the next image.
Image

as u can see it will give you over a 20pages in results, now, if that doesn't work or you can't find what you are looking for or you don't feel like going trough all those pages click on "Extensions" on the main menu of this page, it will take you to the extensions area where you will find tons bridges for all kind of softwares such is, SMF, PHPBB, VBulletin, wordpress, e-carts softwares, magazines,... and whatnot.

if that still doesn't work please don't hesitate come back here and tell us that you weren't able to find what you are looking for and we will do our best to help you achieve your goal.

good luck!
Nothing for the moment....

I've already got SMF installed. It works fine. But when the user logs in to the website, to log out, you have to logout twice, not once. I want it to be just one time. Joomla has its own login script.

Just use the login module that came with your bridge.  The logout button in that should log you out of both.
