convert from mybb

Well since as far as I can tell there is no bridge for mybb I am considering installing smf.  I want to know if there is anyone here that has used a mybb converter to come from mybb to smf?  I want people to just sign in on the main page and be logged in to the forums as well.  So if anyone has any tips or ideas for for changing over from mybb while keeping all member info together and of course all posts as well.  I do already have a working backup of my forums if anything goes wrong.
