Help Need to Load Joomla on MAC

I was asked to help build our community website. I'm use a MAC and I can't seem to load Joomla onto the system. Can any one help me?

I was hoping to use the MAC as a server and a personal computer. Is this possible?

Please place your signature in the signature block under user control panel. To install Joomla on a Mac, I suggest you downlad and install Mamp http://www.mamp.info/en/mamp.html

XAMPP for OSX is also another way to go, but it is pretty much the same thing!
