Is it possible to add the following improvements to registration for 1.5 RC2 / stable or 1.6

Re: Request for registration improvments for 1.5 or 1.6
I'd like to add to this. Would it be possible to set a minimum password length to 3 or 4 characters. Currently I think it is set to 4 or 5.
EDIT:
Thought I should clarify why smaller passwords might be a good idea. There have been times when I wanted to use the user ID of "demo" with a short password "demo" but couldn't. So perhaps there could be some type of "demo" settings that would give the ability to turn-on short passwords and then turn it off once the site is set-up (or leave it on if it is a demo site).

Any reason not to move this post to 1.5 Q&T or wishlist?

How would this agreement be linked and where would this agreement be posted? In the static content? Dynamic content? Or a configurable component?
I'd vote for a component that could be configured where the user could enable, disable or even redirect the "agreement" link to another page or extension. It also might be a good idea to have this link to a page that contains all of your sites agreements, TOU, TOS, Privacy, etc.
I currently use the AKOLegal extension to display my TOU, TOS, Privacy Policy, etc. and this could possibly effect how users deal with and display this type of information.
Just my 2-cents.

I've noted these down for when we discuss the 1.6 roadmap. Thanks.

Re: [NOTED] Request for registration improvments for 1.5 or 1.6
I'd love to be able to set certain rules for the email addresses users can register with.
eg: block anyone from registering with an email address that ends with hotmail.com or only allow registering with an email address that ends with university.com

I'd really love to see the support for a registration agreement in 1.5 too.
For one its not really recommended to run a site in germany without it and on the other hand I couldn't find a module/component/plugin doing that all maybe simply because it needs to be in core.
thanks,
thomas
