Multiple front pages

I did try searching before writing this but couldn't find a post with this specific request.

It would be nice to be able to set separate frontpages for guests and users. Currently I use a mambot to hide text from regfstered/guests on the frontpage but this doesn't work if you use a 3rd party component to improve the FP layout. (I can do it (sort of) by redirecting registered users to a new "Home Page" but you still have the Home option on the menu pointing to the normal front page.)

I believe more customised templates will be in the new Joomla and if my wish was also included that would be awesome.

Hi, the Mambot you mention seems like what I'm looking for - what is it?

In the article pages I'd like to "hide" the Main text from non registered users (but still show Intro text) and unhide for registered users.

It was called RokAccess  and there is also one called RokGuest - they are in extensions under Group Access catagory.
