Improvements (J! 1.0)

Post by peter0379 » Mon Aug 21, 2006 2:29 am

Email, PDF, and Print Icons should be available for all pages - not just content items.

Menu manager (creating new menus) is too confusing. We all get, but clients have a hard time managing it. This definitely needs to be simplified. (e.g. "* Note that some menu types appear in more than one grouping, but they are still the same menu type." why repeat it? They should just be taken out)

There will be no feature additions to the 1.0.x branch. Adding the buttons to all pages is not possible due to system specific restrictions. The extension needs to handle the output as a PDF, which the Joomla core has no influence on.
The menu manager is also something we can't change in 1.0.x, since most people have adapted to the look and would be confused when changing it now. In 1.5, this has been greatly improved.
