DB2 database driver

Hi folks,

because I was in need for a DB2 driver, I created one myself by following the MySQL one and adjust it to the right DB2 commands.
Right now I started using it and it works like a charm. If I should find any errors, I'll update the file attached.

While I am still would like to know if there are some more detailed steps of how to replace the mysql with db2, any guide or steps?
Also, could you pls also share the DB2 DDLs and DMLs?

Hi xzc,
sorry for late answer, but was heavy busy last days.
driver is still in Alpha state - means you can use it, but should be also able to fix it. Nevertheless I found already a little bug and will publish new version this week, as now someone is interested in driver.
And yes, it is enough to just replace mysql with db2 in configuration. If I can find the time, I will create a small HOWTO on how to "install" db2 driver, but that's only worth with at least Beta version which only can be realized by support and testing through others.

Really thank you very much. I tried to use IBM MTK (Migration ToolKit) to transform the official mysql ddl/dml script for joomla to db2 scripts, while seems MTK does not work fine, the generated scripts just got too much error...
So I do not how to continue...
Looking forward to your HOWTO guide, even it is alpha, I would like to test and try it out..
