I have a tab in profile with Contact info and there are two fields
password and verify password. When user registers completes the 2 fields but
when he edit the profile he sees empty fields.(I would prefer to display the
password in ********) Is it possible to bring the value of the password and
fill in these fields, i.e ******** to both fields? or these are used only for
update/change password? should i change the label of the fields to Change
Password and Verify New Password???
I am using Joomla 1.5.

Joomla only saves a salted hash of the password, so there's no way to do so without changing how the passwords are stored.
