1.0.12 Administrator 'file upload popup' shows wrong directory

Post by Graham Lambert » Thu Feb 22, 2007 8:11 pm

Only when uploading a .doc, .pdf etc. file from adminiatration / content item. The file is reported to be stored in the [Joomla-base-dir]/images/stories directory but in fact it is stored in [Joomla-base-dir]/media.
If this is the intended destination for the file then the error lies at:
[ line:119 ] administrator/popups/uploadimage.php
$base_Dir should read $media_path

Uploading from the Media Manager the file is reported to be in images/stories but ends up in images. This is at least accessible, whereas media directory is not.

I do not confirm this behaviour here.

I have the same behaviour with Joomla 1.0.15 and WAMP server on Windows for .doc files. They are placed in the /media directory even if the message tells /images/stories
The message tells though only doc, xls and ppt are possible (additionally to image and swf). No pdfs.
