article changes not visible in front end

I have made some simple edits to a front page article. The article in the backend shows the edits but they are not visible on the front end. This started after I installed akeeba backup and did my first backup. Any ideas what's wrong? I have not tried making other changes - just the one edit to this article.

I should mention that I have cleared my cache and I also tried some nonsense letters in the article but nothing seems to help/change.

Do you mean cleared your browser cache or the cache in joomla?

I cleared the browser cache and also the joomla cache.

Hi, I have the same issue regarding the changes I made on my front page article. Can I ask how you resolved yours?
