Font issues - possibly a tinyMCE problem?

Post by kangaroo27 » Sat Nov 26, 2011 9:40 pm

Hi.
I'm having problems with the font within a article. It seems when I edit a article, then save it, some of my text is bold, sometimes a different font and out of alignment. The main problem is basically the editor is not doing what I've told it to do. Could this be a tinyMCE problem? I'm not sure...Could it be a template issue?

Please help me, Lee

Welcome to Joomla forum!

I thought it was a template error, because the /templates/missvintagelovertemplate/css/template.css file, line 933 states:

body {
color: black;
font-family: Helvetica;
font-size: 12px;
font-weight: bold;
}
However if I remove the "font-weight: bold;" in the FireBug addon for FireFox (= recommended for debugging your template), the bold is still there.

Could you look at the HTML in tinyMCE of the article on the frontpage?
There's a lot of mark-up code that is not really necessary.

To remove all HTML code from your article, cut all text from the article in a text editor (Notepad), and copy that and paste in the article. Then test your site again.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. I'm not sure what you mean about the code in the front page?
I have tried the solution of cutting and pasting back into the article, but this does not help. would I be able to give you temporary login access ?
