The conference is open to walk-ins. Registration is free, but walk-ins will have to make their own meal arrangements.

Yup! If you work or do consultancy for LGUs, you won't have any problems with reservations. Just inform Tina your involvement with LGUs, and she'll help you out. She's a darling

UPDATE: guys, nag-follow-up ako kay tina (ng FOSS) and she told me na bibigyan niya ako ng feedback till wednesday (feb 28) kung ilang slots ang puwedeng ibigay sa atin. sa ngayon priority nila ang mga LGUs and maraming nag-respond sa call nilang ito of using opensource such as joomla dito sa PH.

OMG!! exam supposedly scheduled today(wednesday) was postponed for next week(march 7). huhuhu *cries* either i get a plane ticket to manila this weekend and attend the conference OR forget about this exam and retake this bar subject next year *cries*. argh..

For those asking, yes of course I will be there at the conference (Mar 7 - and definitely at the workshop (Mar 12).

Though it is likely I will not be there throughout the 2 day conference, however I should be there the whole time for the Workshop.



Also I will the one picking up Johan from the airport and most probably dropping him off.

I also have the honour of showing him around Manila and it is my hope to setup some social events where people can meetup with Johan and other Local Joomla! users in a more social setting outside the Conference hours - more on that later.



So I encourage everyone to try meetup with Johan and the other users, at the Conference or Workshop or during one of our social meetings - or even better all of the above.

Here is the opportunity to meet with the Joomla! project leader and the 1.5 Development Lead, I think it would be crazy not to make an effort to at least meet Johan
