gigCalendar

Post by eyezberg » Fri Jul 14, 2006 9:26 pm

Just wanted to try gC on latest 1.5 SVN
Installs fine, but I can't add anything or access config, as under all the links I have
La table 'joomla.gigcal_gigs' n'existe pas
gigManager Filter: La table 'joomla.gigcal_venues' n'existe pas La table 'joomla.gigcal_bands' n'existe pas
Why are these messages in french, I have 1.5 and the browser in english?!
Where have the tables gone?

(feel free to move if there's a better forum for this..)

Totally weird. I haven't tried it on any versions of 1.5 but I have been told that there are a number of pieces that will need to be updated to get gigCal working on 1.5. Sorry, we're unhacking our website and forums right now. Next step...add a few features. Then we'll get to 1.5 compatibility. ;)

No worries, just wanted to let you guys know about this ;)

"unhack" is a cool word. just the word though, not having to do it...

How goes the "unhacking"? Right now when I browse to the url, I'm prompted to download this file: 3w6i3uve

I have no idea what it is, as I did not want to risk opening a malicious file.

AFAIK this is not a malicious file but I think that you are right not to download it.

The unhacking is taking a long time. We may have lost all of our forum posts back to March. :( This is a major bummer but something we'll deal with. I hope to have the site back up and running shortly...perhaps by Monday or Tuesday evening EST of next week. Sorry for the site being down so long...we've been removed from the Extensions Directory also as a result of this hacker. Beautiful world isn't it?

so we've unhacked a few more times and are back up and running...getting close to releasing a beta for 1.0.3 and also working on a new 2.0 version. Check out the forums at http://www.gigcalendar.net for more info or take a look at the new code at the new development site:
