The last step of the installer notifies my about the install directory.
Maybe this feature isn't implemented (yet) or it's just supposed to be a warning...PLEASE REMEMBER TO COMPLETELY
REMOVE THE INSTALLATION DIRECTORY
You will not be able to proceed beyond this point until the installation directory is removed. This is a security feature of Joomla!.
Anyway, I tested/installed Joomla like an "average" user, click, click, click, done. The easy way. Why bother reading eh?
So, as an "average" user I didn't read the last message. (Well, in fact I did read it, but .. again, the "average" user..)
I didn't remove the install/ directory at all, and it's still possible to use the front-end and the back-end without any problems.
If this is really a security feature, this shouldn't be possible at all, right?
I expected to see an error on the front-end and back-end with a message to remove the install/ directory.
