route.php on line 106 when viewing content

Post by ccgr » Thu May 15, 2008 3:12 pm

Hello there!

I'm working on migrating my site from 1.0.15 to 1.5.3. I ran the migration script and have removed many modules and components from the imported site. I'm trying to go 1.5. native whenever possible.

Here's what I'm running

MySQL client version: 5.0.32
Apache/2.2.3
PHP Version 5.2.0-8+etch10
SEF is off (I can't see my content with it enabled)
I have tried multiple templates without any luck

This is what I get on top when a review is accessed

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /components/com_content/helpers/route.php on line 106

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /components/com_content/helpers/route.php on line 106

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /components/com_content/helpers/route.php on line 106

my joomla 1.0.15 site http://www.ccgr.org
my joomla 1.5.3 site http://beta.ccgr.org

hi,

I have exactly the same problem running on 1.5.3 stable.

I am using an external link pointing to
index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3&Itemid=2
and I am getting the following error message (3 times):
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <path to components>/components/com_content/helpers/route.php on line 106
when I change the menu item to internal link / article / default layout everything works fine, though it's the same url
I am using the external link to add a color parameter to the link to provide my client with different color schemes per menu item.

any help is highly appreciated,
cheers, thomas.

as it turns out...my reviews link was an internal link associated with nothing and once I fixed it, the errors went away :)
