I think it's good to buy the domain now considering it has already funded.

i think we need some volounters on authors/writers also.

yes,.. the thread for domain name contribution will be running until the end of this week to see who else will contribute.. para isang bayaran lang. since currently pwede ko naman tapalan muna habang wala pa sa akin ang mga pledges however would be better to see first kung ilan or magkano total ng PLEDGE.. para di naman medyo masakit sa bulsa ko kung tatapalan ko lahat sabay iba aatras sa pledge. eheheheh.

nakakatawa tlaga mga translated term ng filipino lalo na mga speeches ni GMA. i remember some articles on that how GMA misused / translate. naging kingkoy tuloy ang speech. haha!

Eiy! Couldn't wait to see what the Pinoy Joomla! site would look like, and it would contain.

Wishlist:

1) Put the site up (Wehehehehehe) 
2) Have lots of tutorials for wriiting CMMs
3) Use the logo design that won in the contest (in the front page and in the site icon), even though the front page says "This site is still undergoing construction...".

Me again .. just got a reply from rockettheme... and the response is.. YES..joomla philippines can use any of rocketheme templates provided we retain the rockettheme link at the footer.. that's all.

.. your move guys... you have a template(rockettheme), a logo, a host(maybe mine..or guilliam), a domain... a group of developer/designer, moderators, ..etc..etc.. ..huwag na natin antayin na mag 1st anniversary ang discussion na to na walang pinatunguhan..

Can we set the formal launching of Joomla Philippines - showcasing this as our COLLABORATION at its best. . .

I suggest during the celebration of the 2008 National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) or month (NSTM) of the Philippines which is every July.

Will try to work this to be included in the official program of NSTW/MSTM.

Option two, launching is on Philippines ICT Month Celebration which is June. . .
