Trying to understand the reply to my ticket.

Hi,

I created a ticket to JED team with the below content.
I got a couple of emails saying there is a new review added but the reviews are not visible on the said extension pages.

Message 1 on July 26th for Community Surveys (https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... y-surveys/)
Message 2 on Aug 3rd for CjBlog (https://extensions.joomla.org//extensio ... og/cjblog/)

Could you please help?

and check if your problem is already listed. If you found it, please subscribe to notifications to get notified, when will be listed.

If you consider, that none of reports matches your case, please, submit a new bug report.

And the ticket is closed. Now I am trying to understand how my issue is related to bug. Is there any known bug already present? I could not find anything similar on github.

Hi,

You have received the notifications of new reviews because the system received the new reviews. However, after the spam checkup, the reviews were removed from the site.

This is the specific reported issue:

Ok. Thank you.

However, the user reported me that he posted the review and is a genuine review. How is it marked as spam? Was the user notified that his review was marked as spam and was removed?

Hi,

A genuine review can look like a spam review. For instance, a review that has in every field "It is perfect", it looks like spam.

I'm not referring to this case, it is just one example of what could happen. There are several checks and what it matters is a final score to decide if it is flagged or not.

You can send a ticket to Reported Reviews for a manual checkup of those reviews.
