How to overcome maximum file upload size of 7MB Topic is solved

Hello

I would like to submit an extension to the JED, but the package is above 8MB and doesn't get through due to an upload limit of 7MB. Can this limit be lifted to at least 10MB? Or has anyone faced this before and there's already an official way of dealing with this scenario?

I believe (but may be wrong) that you can usually do this by increasing the php file size - have you tried that? There are some good tutorials out there for explaining how to do that. This thread may help also: viewtopic.php?t=946895

@Bdizz - the OP asked about the JED (Joomla Extensions Directory) having an upload limit.

Only the JED team can answer this question. That is why the post is here and not in "General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x".

Thank you Anibal. I did as you suggested, but also managed to bring down the size of the package to be able to submit it and now just waiting for aproval.
