ChronoForms many false reviews

My extension ChronoForms is getting many false reviews by users with "1" review score, most of the time they claim a non existing fact, like:
1- "the extension is not free", even though it's free.
2- the download is not working even though it's working
3- functionality has been removed, without giving any hint on what functions have been removed.

I reported the reviews but no actions were taken, it looks like the JED admins are busy or away.

What to do ?

You are right, the few still standing admins are or too busy or away on various reasons. Even worse, you can count on fingers of your left hand ALL active editors in JED.
Specifically, strongly related with your case: there is no one active in the Reported Reviews section for months. Luckily we seemingly have a new volunteer, first one in a year - a rare bird these days - but he need to be trained and guided until can be dropped into high waters to handle such a hornet's nest like the Reviews are.
So, be patient, please. We are doing what we can, but is hard to run a volunteer-based enterprise without the key ingredient: the volunteers.

if that's the case then it's expected to get worse, and in this situation I suggest that:

1- Users ratings are not used for the JED order, instead it should be random, because the ratings are not guaranteed to be correct most of the time, why bias new Joomla users decisions with incorrect ratings ?
2- Reviews can be kept as some kind of testimonials.
3- Extensions should have a list of tags to be displayed to help users decide, like: Joomla 4 support, extension size, PHP 8 support, Age, Free support, public forums, Full Free/Full Paid/Limited.

Then developers can also list specific features like MailChimp integration, PayPal..etc

This should be more helpful for new Joomla users to choose an extension from at least 50 per category, and give motivation for developers to improve their extensions.

I forward these to our team leader and orchestra-man, Mark, who single-handedly struggles to build the new JED. Again: alone, and filling couple of other roles in the same time. Don't expect anything spectacular anytime soon. If we don't get some fresh, new volunteers on board the project will only decline in the near future.

I can help with building a new JED from scratch if this would help, if this is ok then I will need to know the list of requirements and I will let you know which ones I can not fulfil.

I think that giving more motivation for the extensions developers can give Joomla more momentum, and give end users many more options
