Re: JED Archive Closing
Can you explain a little bit why not ?At this time, we have no intentions of distributing or sharing any portions of the archive outside of the Joomla Project.
Maybe someone else than joomla Project could be interested on publish that list
consider that joomla 1.5 is still 50% of joomla sites http://w3techs.com/technologies/details ... la/all/all

The Terms of Service that developers agreed to prohibits sharing the data.
Before we put the archive up the original thought was to let someone else set something up however there were a number of users that didn't want their info shared so we put the archive up instead.

There is something seriously wrong with the replies on phpBB. I did not get the notification for this post.

I know. I don't find that a terribly positive user experience. Might have been worth using the email list for better coverage.

The extensions, the site, and all?"A copy of the site will be packed and put into storage."
Why?
I can't think any rational reasons to save it ... which isn't to say there aren't any, or other kinds of reasons.
Speaking of forum dysfunctions, it looks like the user profile editor has gone away? We are packed and put in storage here too.
