JED acknowledgement email

Just received a JED acknowledgement email that contained a link to view the ticket. Link went to a page that said I was not authorised to view. I was logged in and once I navigated to the ticket https://extensions.joomla.org/support/my-tickets/ the link (in the email) now works but the drop down menu hi-lights Support >> Submit a ticket not Support >>my tickets.

I noticed this posted to "Joomla Sites & Infrastructure resources.joomla.org" but your question concerns the JED support.

Should your question not be posted in Joomla Sites & Infrastructure - extensions.joomla.org instead (just asking)?]

FWIW, the UI to submit a ticket is not intuitive.

Try reading the OP correctly. You misrepresented what was said'.

The report had already been made because I received an acknowledgement. The problem was with the link in the email that they sent.

In other words the link in the email only worked after I navigated to my tickets.

That's right. The link in the email doesn't go to "my tickets" until you login and, even then, it doesn't work properly. I've also reported my problems in this area in another discussion topic in this forum category. There's no need to haul me over the coals. I'm just saying that I agree with you. OK?

Hi,

Please, note that I read the forum topics once in a while and I try to open the issues (https://github.com/joomla/jed-issues/issues) about what I understand.

If you open tickets in the /jed-issues/issues and describe the issue in detail, it would save a lot of time to check and review the issues.
