A problem with downloading Joomla Extensions from the Joomla Extension website

When I navegate to the extensions Joomla site, https://extensions.joomla.org/category/photos-a-images/ I cannot see images or icons click, and the extension page cannot be accessed to download.
The same problem occurs when I tried several browsers from different computers
Did Joomla abandon the site and move to another site? Or is there another problem
Did this happen with other users?

This issue must be limited to your particular network or ISP. Otherwise this forum would be flooded with similar topics.

Load the Developer Tools (F12) and check the Network tab for errors. Your ISP may be blocking or have a temporary issue with URLs from extensionscdn.joomla.org.

I have had similar issues with my ISP but I couldn't fix it even after clearing the browser cache, flushing the DNS, change browser, switch to another machine. Nothing worked. I had the same errors as you sent in the screenshot.

Finally, I've found another way that worked perfectly for me.

1. Open the file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
2. Add these two lines at the end of the file:

72.29.124.148 extensionscdn.joomla.org # JED ISSUE
72.29.124.148 extensions.joomla.org # JED ISSUE

I tried all methods and tried to open the extensions joomla site with more than twenty computers in different regions and the same result.
The solution that I came up is greate. I hadn't thought of before

@josif, what happens if you temporarily comment out those two domains in your hosts file and then try to ping those domains from the command prompt?

If those domains are not found, that means that either your ISP has not updated their domain server or the IP address or the domains are blocked in your country.

BTW, here in Croatia extensionscdn.joomla.org resolves into 94.31.29.248. It is a CDN domain and therefore served from different servers in different countries.
