hack old site

Someone is calling with a problem with an old Joomla 1.x site.
He is troubled by spammers abusing his form. Form is not used on the site.
Does anyone remember how you can disable the form on a 1.x site?
Then I will build a new one, but it must be resolved for a few weeks ....

/index.php?option=com_mailto&tmpl=component&link=b10aac330c9c278dd9de24d999e0c93fb49e4b44 is the link behind the site. Site is currently off the air.
This is a form with "tell a friend
A virtuemart is also installed. Possibly it comes from somewhere?

Haven't used 1.0 for 10 years, so it's just a faded memory.

Have you turned off showing the email button on the articles?

To be sure no emails are sent, rename the /components/com_mailto folder.
