how to insert Jquery vertical menu

Hai,

I am working in a school website using joomla. I want to insert a jquery vertical menu instread of milkyway template menu.
I downloaded the menu also. But i dont know how to modify the coding to insert the menu.
so please tel me where i modify the coding...

Are you using any module for the menu ?
or you want add directly jQuery codes in your template ?
