civicrm 1.5 and joomla 1.5

Post by Tobias Eigen » Fri Sep 15, 2006 3:03 pm

Hey all,

Setting up a sandbox with civicrm and joomla 1.5 - and getting this error upon successful installation and browsing to the civicrm component in the backend:

Code: Select all

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /var/vhosts/xx/xx/httpdocs/joomla15/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Utils/File.php on line 114
Probably something obvious I've missed, or related to joomla 1.5. I'll be installing also on Joomla 1.0.11 and Drupal.

Cheers,

Tobias

sorry, we have *not* tested civicrm 1.5 on joomla 1.5 (and have no plans to do so currently). I suspect we'll look at it when joomla 1.5 reaches a beta state :)

Hi Lobo -

Okidoke - makes sense to me :-) I think many components are starting to be tested for Joomla 1.5 - and there is a "legacy" option in joomla 1.5 so 1.0 components should still work normally in 1.5. But then again this is a pre-beta version I've downloaded and so I expect some weird behavior. I'll try it also with Joomla 1.0.11.

Cheers,

Tobias
