Can anyone explain the FuzzyBot schedule?
My understanding is that FuzzyBot runs in the background waiting for updated translatable pages to appear. So if I create Chunk4x:List_of_Plugins, some time later Chunk4x:List_of_Plugins/en appears. Fine. But I updated the original and the /en version has not been updated and FuzzyBot has not done anything for three days. So am I doing something wrong? Or does FuzzyBot need manual starting? What can I do to help?

Somebody must mark your changes for translation. I did this now.

Re: Can anyone explain the FuzzyBot schedule?
I am still unsure of the procedure I should use. At the moment I am breaking up the long list of plugins into chunks. So I create a link Extensions Plugin Manager Edit Authentication Group and put in it the content marked up for translation. But to use that in a Help screen there needs to be a Extensions Plugin Manager Edit Authentication Group/en version. Sometimes I create that manually by removing all of the translate tags. That is probably wrong. The point is that the link in the translatable version needs to have /en but if I create that from that link then there is no version without /en. So what should the procedure be?
And if I create both versions manually does the automatic regeneration of the /en version still work?

And to add to my confusions, I created Extensions Plugin Manager Edit User Group marked up for translation. The link is to the chunk, without the /en, the one that I used to create the chunk. But it shows up in the List of Plugins with <translate> tags everywhere and the headings not set. This is just so frustrating!

Does this help?
Creating a new chunck.
When you create a new chunck you can copy an old one and remove the translation tags.
So the source code of a new chunk based on the chunck above will be:
<noinclude><languages /></noinclude>
<translate>
*'''Link'''. The full URL of the web page address using which includes the http:// prefix.</translate>
<translate>
::''Examples: <nowiki>http://www.thedomainname.com</nowiki> or <nowiki>http://www.thedomainname.com/morehelp.h ... /translate>
The name of the new chuck will be:
https://docs.joomla.org/Chunk30:Help_sc ... eader_Name
The /en version will be created after a while by FuzzyBot and will be
https://docs.joomla.org/Chunk30:Help_sc ... er_Name/en
Don’t create this one!

Actually, it seems I simply neglected to include safesubst: so having done that my chunk is included correctly. Thank you for your patience. I may be back with more questions.

Re: Can anyone explain the FuzzyBot schedule?
Oh bother! That is not the answer. It just included the content of the chunk as text and not the chunk itself.

Re: Can anyone explain the FuzzyBot schedule?
I marked "Chunk4x:Extensions Plugin Manager Edit Button Group" for translation, this way the /en version wil be available.
Tell me which other chunks you want and I will mark them for translation.

Re: Can anyone explain the FuzzyBot schedule?
I did mark them, so the /en will be available.
You can edit them, the /en will stil be available, but to make the changed source available for translators I will have to mark them again (but I can see when they are changed and will mark them).
If You change the document and add a new part (not just a sentence) please use <translate> text </translate>, not the number (like <!--T:3-->). The number is generated when I mark it for translation again.

Re: Can anyone explain the FuzzyBot schedule?
In List of Plugins you must add /<translate>en</translate> to all the chuncks, like in Button Group.
I will mark it for translation then.

Re: Can anyone explain the FuzzyBot schedule?
List of Plugins is ready to translate. More questions:
What is the formal route to ask for something to be marked for translation? Previously, it just sort of happened and I noticed M-b-o had a hand in it. I assumed that was a robot. Asking on this Forum is obviously not done often.
When I open List of Plugins directly it shows Chunk4x at the top and then List of Plugins as a title. In the Joomla Administrator Help window it appears as Chunk4x:List of Plugins. Is there a way to suppress the Chunk4x: part there? I don't think it is relevant to end users.

Active people communicate on Glip: https://app.glip.com/#
We do have a Jdocs Working Group which is public. If you want, you can go there and ask if somebody wants to mark a document for translation.
Maybe the best way is to first write a document in English and after it is finished to have it marked for translation, so you dont't have to thinks about to things at the same time (writing and marking for translation).
About the Chunk4x:List of Plugins: Can't you just rename it?

Re: Can anyone explain the FuzzyBot schedule?
I have been working on the J4 Help screens so almost all of the documents I have revised were already created, over 200 so far. Something I don't understand. A J3 Help screen has this URL:
https://help.joomla.org/proxy?keyref=He ... er&lang=en
And appears with this heading:
Content Article Manager/en
The same document in J4 has this URL:
https://help.joomla.org/proxy?keyref=He ... er&lang=en
And appears with this heading:
Help4.x:Content Article Manager
I suspect the difference may be due to something in the proxy server.
I have tried several different ways to contact the Docs Working Group without success. I have never used glip so don't know what to expect. More Help images to grab - something to keep me busy for a few more days.
