Hello fellow Joomla fanatic,

Good day!

There are many upcoming Joomla events that are very interesting and one of them is the upcoming "Joomla! World Conference 2013".

I have a suggestion:

As we all know there are many users that are very active in Joomla world wide. My suggestion is; I know there are many users around the globe that are willing to join on this event (but no budget) and since this event requires monetary (budget); what if the Joomla community will sponsor or nominate an active Joomla users (developer/contributor/forum active) that will sponsor; so that the "active users" can visit and join on the said event with spending that much.

I am not jut only talking on this particular event but i am talking also on the future Joomla events. I believed this will be more helpful and very effective way in helping community.

Anybody agree with me?

sponsoring (unofficially afaik) a delegate has occurred previously.
opening up to attending by [spam]/skype or presenting via skype etc would also be a useful tool
