Cyrillic charatcter problems...

Post by kirocone » Mon Oct 20, 2008 1:20 pm

Hi, I wanna ask if there's some general guidelines in building a Joomla! site in a non-latin character content.
Specifically, I want to use it with cyrillic characters, Macedonian language (Bulgarian and Russian will do the job also).

So my question is, is there some documentation on this, where I can find the information on one place, couse I find the forum posts confusing and NOT in general describing the problem.

So I need info about making this from the ground up, form the installation to content writing.

Please help, and thank ya!!!

P.S. Tried some stuff, as a result: The content is good, but the titles are all messy...

Updt. Ok, I've migrated to 1.5, ad everything seems to be ok...
So, hm... how to close this post?

No reason to close. May be useful for other users. ;)

I would have replied but indeed choosing 1.5.7 is much better. ;)
