Search Results Language dependent?

We have a website in Dutch - French - English
and we want the user to have only english results when he searches for a word while being on the english part of the website
is this possible?
our website is default dutch and we use joomfish to translate every page
when searching, we always have dutch results, not the link itself but the content being displayed is in dutch
the url itself is correct, it is english...
anyone?
